An original Terpano illustration of a real place

Why are covered bridges roofed?

Study the scene, then drop your pin on the map.

A daily geography puzzle told in original illustrations

Study the light, the roofs, the plants, the ground — then pin the map.

Terpano shows you one drawn scene of a real place and asks a single question: where on Earth is this? Study the angle of the light, the pitch and material of the roofs, which plants grow and how they are spaced, what the ground is made of — then pin it on a borderless terrain map. Scoring is by distance.

Every image is drawn rather than photographed. A photograph leaks accidental evidence — a shop sign, a licence plate, a road marking. An illustration contains only what was drawn on purpose, so the clues are deliberate, and players who do not read the local script are not at a disadvantage.
