Highland Color Lane

Highland Color Lane is an original illustration set in Central Mexican Highlands. It lies in the tropics, where the climate is subtropical highland — dry winters, mild summers.

Flat house walls in saturated orange, magenta and cobalt step up a cobbled lane. Strings of triangular cut-paper banners with geometric perforations hang across the street. Doorways are deep-set, and the late morning light is clear and bright.
